Looking at the close relationship between dogs and humans.

This is one of our favourite dog programmes and we are delighted that it is back, on its second series. It is based mainly on science-backed research , but edited in such a way that makes it extremely interesting for a general audience, mainly us dog lovers!

It looks at the special relationship between dogs and humans and the characteristics dogs have evolved to make that relationship so successful. It has some really interesting stories about the amazingly close bonds some owners have with their dogs, like the Jack Russell who jumps off cliffs into the sea alongside her owner and the dog who loves paragliding with its owner.

It also looks at the fantastic intelligence of dogs, like the Border Collie who knows the names of over 1,000 toys and the learning process.
